Badminton: Indian Badminton Player wins Single Opener
Lakshya Sen gives best performance at Paris Olympics 2024 and start beating Kevin Cordon of Guatemala in a straight games. The group L match of men’s single tournament ended 21-8, 22-20 in total 42 minutes.
Lakshya wins the first games in only 14 minutes by 21-8. Kevin pulled things back and took a commanding lead in the second match. However, Indian badminton player, Lakshya Sen win in last by 6 points, earlier it was 4 games points in second time match.
Lakshya Sen will now play against Julien Carraggi of Belgium next on July 29, 2024 in Paris.
Shooting: Manu Bhasker is in the Finals for Women’s 10m Air Pistol
Indian Shooter Manu Bhaker gets India’s first big result in Paris. The former Youth Olympics champion is through to the women’s 10 air pistol final. The 22-year-old finished 3rd in the qualifiers with a tally of 580 points.
Earlier at Tokyo 2020, Bhasker finished 12th in the same event and now is in contention for a medal. She shot 27 times in the inner 10s, more than any other shooter in the qualification.
Table Tennis: Harmeet Desai through to main draw at Paris Olympics 2024
Harmeet Desai play against Zaid Abo Yaman of Jordan and defeated opponent by 11-7, 11-9, 11-5, 11-5 in the preliminary round of men’s singles table tennis tournament. The match lasted along 30 minutes.
Harmeet Desai is through to the main draw of the men’s singles event. He will now face France’s Felix Lebrun in Paris. Felix is the world n. 5 player in the total round of 64.
Men Shooting: Sarabjot Singh Finishes 9th in their Match
Indian Shooter Sarabjot Singh fell to get best result in their match in Pris. He finished 9th in the qualification round with an aggregate score of 577 after six series of shooting.
He play against German’s Walter Robins but he missed out on the count of inner 10s. The German had shot 17 inner 10s, while Sarabjot managed 16. While another Indian Player Arjun Cheema, finished 18th with an aggregate score of 574.
Paris Olympics 2024: Indian Players in Action Later Today
