India a country of world largest population can handle mpox as it outbreak global health emergency. It seems like Indian government is not active as no any case has been found in this country but rival Pakistan has already confirmed first case of mpox virus.
Earlier this week, the World Health Organizations (WHO) has declared the mpox outbreak as global health emergency. Many cases has been found in Congo and Africa. Case are confirmed among children and adults in more than a dozen countries, and a new form of the virus is spreading.
Later this week, the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention declared the mpox outbreaks a public health emergency, with more than 500 deaths among over 14,000 cases has been found yet.
Can India handle another pandemic as Covid-19 hits country worst?
Indian government has not announce any statement on mpox virus yet. Seems like the central government has forgotten worst covid-19 pandemic as million of Indian lost their loved ones and not forget their pain yet.
India should sincere about any health emergency announced by WHO and work on properly to handle against the mpox virus. All are aware that Indian health system is not best in the world it need to continuous improvement.\
Can mpox bring another pandemic?
Some experts are saying it seems like it will not being another pandemic, the most recent ones of swine flu and Covid-19 are typically sparked by airborne viruses that spread quickly, including by people who may not be showing symptoms.
Mpox is also known as monkeypox and spread through close skin-to-skin contact with infected people or their soiled clothes or bedsheets. It often causes visible skin lesion that could make people less likely to be in close contact with others.
To stay safe, experts are advice to people to avoiding close physical contact with that people who has infected with mpox as lesions resembling on their skin. So people couldn’t use their utensils, clothing or bedsheets and maintaining good hygiene like regular hand-washing and stay away from infected person.
